Abi Prakash is a managing director in the Private Capital Advisory (PCA) group. Mr. Prakash leads PCA’s efforts in the Private Wealth Management channel, raising capital for exclusive middle market private equity funds and co-investments. Additionally, he also helps clients receive liquidity in PE/VC funds and direct investments via secondary transactions.
Mr. Prakash has been at Raymond James for over 16 years. Prior to his current role, he served in the Investment Banking Experience team where he was responsible for advocating for SBU needs in the development and deployment of projects and strategies throughout the organization in Europe and North America. Previously, Mr. Prakash was a banker in the Raymond James Merchant Banking group.
Mr. Prakash received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Anna University in India and a master’s degree in electronic and computer engineering from the University of Florida.
